Everything. Amazing staff and perfect scenery. Tents were amazing and comfortable. Game drives were perfect, we saw everything! It was the perfect honeymoon experience. Thankyou William, Lucy, Rose, Winnie and all the staff behind the scenes.
The staff were all beyond lovely. The view from tent 4 of the river was stunning. The food was all excellent.

The resort is beautifully located amongst trees in the bend of the Mara River. Hippos and crocs are constantly visible in the water metres from the camp (but quite safely out of reach). The slope of the opposite bank has a fairly steady stream of wildlife too (zebra, giraffe, wildebeest, etc). Some of our best sightings of bull elephants were just outside the boundary of the camp. Guards constantly patrol and the fence keeps them from entering. The national park is a 20 minute drive away (quite bumpy). The guide and camp staff are excellent and try (and succeed) at pleasing. Hot water is scheduled, but to your needs so we had no difficulty.
The warm hospitality of the staff is truly the heart of this place. The location next to the river is unbeatable. Food is delicious and they even surprised us with tea time snacks. The tents are clean and comfortable.
Surroundings, clean, the pool, settings, garden , the river , I loved the whole experience.
Mara River Camp was fantastic, the staff took care of us as we were the only guests there at the time. They tended to or every need and made sure we were comfortable and well fed. They were truly wonderful, they even gave us a gift on leaving! We feel it should have been the other way round.

Overall great experience. The room was excellent, we were right to the river with view of the hippos and elephant which came to the river to drink. The room (tent) itself was nice, clean and in good condition. The staff were above expectation, extremely kind and helpful. In our view, the staff was what made the experience the best.
After reading such good reviews, we had high expectations and they were certainly met. We arrived and felt welcomed straight away by Winnie who was super helpful throughout. The staff really do make the place. Professional and friendly. We had Simbas lodge (2bed and 2bath) with Rose to look after us . The facilities were fine and being on the river meant we saw crocs hippos and giraffes. The food was buffet and fresh and the staff did everything to accommodate. I would recommend Mara river camp to anyone whether a family or couple- it made Mara magical!
The Camp is a paradise on earth and thanks to the fantastic Personal Winnie, Rose, Moses, the Maasai guards and to our game driver Priva.
